Taylor Burke, PhD

Taylor Burke, PhD is an Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School and a licensed clinical psychologist. She is the Director of Pediatric Computational Health, Associate Director of Suicide Research in the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital, and Co-Director of the Mood & Behavior Lab at MGH and Harvard Medical School, whose overarching mission is to improve current knowledge of what puts certain youth and young adults at risk for suicide and non-suicidal self-injury, and to prevent these outcomes. Dr. Burke’s research aims to advance the prediction and prevention of self-injurious thoughts and behaviors among youth and young adults. Dr. Burke has published over 70 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters on the causes of self-injurious thoughts and behaviors. Dr. Burke uses novel methods and computational approaches to improve the identification and treatment of youth at risk.
