Julie leads clinical strategy and care quality across Cartwheel's programs, bringing more than a decade of behavioral health leadership spanning primary care integration, virtual care delivery, and community mental health — including five years as a therapist inside a middle school. She holds a Master of Social Work from Smith College and is a licensed clinical social worker. In this session, she brings the throughline connecting all three patterns districts are seeing this fall, school avoidance, screen-related conflict, and emotional overwhelm, grounding the conversation in what earlier clinical intervention can change for students before a pattern becomes a crisis.
